The Pilates For Sports program is a series of scientifically designed Pilates workouts, each one created to help you develop strong and balanced muscles. Provided purely online, with no equipment needed, the sessions range from 10 to 30 minutes, so you can easily fit them into a busy schedule.

It takes a high degree of body awareness, muscular strength and core stability to play the game of cricket with power and efficiency. The more efficient you are the faster you can run, the quicker you can bowl, the more power you can produce from the bat, the faster you can accelerate and the faster you can recover from hard efforts. EFFICIENCY
Inefficient movement means that you are using more energy than you need to bat, bowl, field or run between the wickets. The result is that you will fatique faster and your form will drop. Pilates for Sports teaches cricketers to be aware of how they are currently moving and then helps them build a strong core. This will ensure that every bit of power they generate, goes into their bowling, batting, fielding and running stride. This comes about through the strengthening of the powerhouse and knowledge of how to engage it correctly, when you are playing. STABILITY

Now, if that cannon fires, it won’t be able to shoot very far because the canoe will wobble and capsize, as it can’t handle the force of the cannon. In this scenario the cricketers arms and legs are the cannon and their wobbly core is the canoe on a lake, which can't handle the power being produced because of its instability. However, put that cannon on a concrete platform and the result is very different. From that stable base, maximum power can be directed to the cannonball, resulting in the cannon being able to fire to it’s full potential. Just as a cricketer with a strong and stable core can transfer the maximum force generated to batting, bowling, fielding, sprinting between the wickets, and quick response in the field.
